A water park called «Typhoon» was opened in 2017. It was designed primarly for those who wanted to take a break from lazy lying on the paradisaical beaches of Ha Long Bay and diversify their vacation with something outstanding and unusual. It became a part of the biggest Vietnamese entertainment park in Northern Vietnam, «Sun World Halong Complex», and perfectly complemented its fascinating attractions.
Visiting Typhoon will bring children to a merry world of water slides and games, and adults will be transferred to the time of their happy and carefree childhood. The water park is divided into several zones, so everyone can find entertainment to suit their taste. Most of the visitors relax in the family zone, children have fun in the children’s corner, thrill-seekers get adrenaline on breath-taking rides.
The beauty of the Typhoon Water Park is in its special concept. It is specially designed in such a way, that its guests can feel like they are not in a closed space, but in an open corner of wildlife. Cliffs and forests, which are usual for the Ha Long Bay, serve as decorations for attractions and pools of the park. It turned out to be an oasis of entertainment as if it was lost among the islands of the bay.
The real gem of Typhoon is a wave pool that makes guests feel like they are on the open sea. The maximum depth of the pool is 1.5 meters, and the time between changing the artificial wave modes is 15 minutes. Guests have time to relax in the calm pond and to dance on the waves. Most of the Typhoon guests spend their time there, while people, who seek more adrenaline, are keen on way different attractions. Thrill-seekers go to enjoy the most extreme attractions of the park. Freefall into the pool from the 20-meter height is among the most popular ones. Although this entertainment is not for the faint-hearted, there are lots of people who want to take part in this activity!
Typhoon provides a recreation area with cafés and restaurants, where people get an opportunity to take a breath and eat something before scaling new water heights!
Not far from the Typhoon Water Park, there is another interesting entertainment park, which is a part of the Sun World Halong Complex. It was opened just several months before the water park and became not less popular among tourists than the famous cliff islands of the Ha Long Bay. We are talking about Dragon Park, where guests can continue their vacation after pools and water slides of Typhoon. In Dragon Park, people have an opportunity to take a ride on three roller coasters at once and go on 29 various rides.
