The picturesque Ural Mountains aren’t called the “precious stone belt” of Russia for nothing. Infinite treasures are hidden in their depths, as well as deposits of gems, the beauty of which was praised by many Russian writers and poets. However, these lands are famous not only for the sparkling bright stones. More and more Russians and foreign guests come here due to the soft fluffy snow-white slopes and first-class ski resorts.
One of such modern mountain centers is the Abzakovo resort, located 60 kilometers from the city of Magnitogorsk in the Republic of Bashkortostan in the Southern Urals. Abzakovo is a hotel complex with an area of 90 hectares. There are modern cottages and a cozy sports hotel. Moreover, there is a large water park "Aquarium", a Russian bath and a Finnish sauna, a cinema, a nightclub, and even its own zoo. Billiards, bowling, and tennis are available as well as the luxurious spa and solarium. The youngest skiers will love the playground with attractions and attentive animators. Yet the main pearl of the resort is the overwhelming mountains. A desire to ski comes immediately after the first minutes of stay in this amazing corner. Thirteen delightful tracks with a total length of eighteen kilometers and five modern ski lifts, ready to take fearless skiers to the very top of the mountain in a few minutes, where a wonderful view of the endless domain of the Copper Mountain opens up. Most of the trails pass through wooded areas, that allow people to enjoy the rich greenery of the Ural Mountains. A spacious ice skating rink, fantastic snowmobile trails, and horseback riding make Abzakovo the best family winter destination.
