COM_SCATALOG_FIELD_DESCRIPTION

Although fabulous Slovenia, the pearl of the Balkan Peninsula, is famous all over the world for its first-class ski resorts, surrounded by the peaks of the Julian Alps, its true treasures are hidden at their foot among green hills and flowery meadows.

Slovenian lakes have long been the basis of legends and myths, sung by poets, and depicted by artists. A popular tourist destination, Lake Bled, and the largest Lake Bohinj are favored by many travelers who have repeatedly returned to admire the beautiful local scenery. But if you want to take a moment to yourself and enjoy the snowy peaks, the crystal clear waters of a mountain lake, and the purest sweet air filled with the aromas of herbs, go to the north of Slovenia.

Just a few kilometers from the town and the famous ski resort of Kranjska Gora, there is an incredibly beautiful mountain Lake Jasna. The picturesque Slovenian lake with an area of only 2.2 hectares attracts tourists from all over the world with its landscapes. Its water surface reflects the snow-capped mountains, as it is surrounded by the Julian Alps and old coniferous forests with centuries-old trees. Besides, tourists appreciate the numerous walking paths carefully tiled around its perimeter.

Lake Jasna is fed by two mountain streams, Mala and Velika Pisnica. They form a mountain river that flows throughout Triglav National Park. Few people dare to swim in this beautiful lake. Its waters are cold but ideal for various types of fish.

Fishing, duck watching, drinking hot tea, walking in the coniferous forests... People come here in search of a relaxed secluded rest away from noisy cities. Moreover, Lake Jasna is one of the few mountain water bodies located close to civilization: the nearest town of Kranjska Gora is only 2 kilometers away. It is difficult to imagine a more ideal place for a family weekend.
