What is the symbol of Toronto? The CN Tower, of course! Who could have foreseen the "star" fate of the tower during the development of the project! It was originally intended to be a purely technical building: just a larger and more powerful broadcast antenna than the previous one. In the 1960s and 1970s, the skyscrapers that Toronto is famous for were built. And the old transmitter simply could no longer provide a good signal: a new tower was needed.
Today, visitors are ready to wait several hours for the ascent to the observation platform. All because tickets are purchased for a specific day, not an hour. However, there is a way to avoid wasting precious time in the queue!
There is a restaurant located above the towers' observation deck. Уou will not have to wait in line if you order lunch or dinner at a specific time. Guests of the restaurant immediately go to a special elevator that takes them to the "haute cuisine".
You don't have to move around the restaurant to see the city from all sides. The restaurant rotates by itself: it makes a 360 ° turn in 72 minutes. And if you happen to try appetizers with a view of the lake, the main course will be accompanied by a view of the skyscrapers and the famous city hall.
If you have visited, for example, the Fernsehturm Tower in Berlin or the Donauturm in Vienna, you can easily imagine a special feeling of rotation over the city. But the views from the CN Tower are much higher: starting from 351 m.
How about some real adrenaline? After a good meal, you can go down the stairs to the observation platform. There is one of the most popular points of the tower - a platform with a glass floor. There the city is "under your feet" far below! It is impossible to leave without photos "over the precipice".
There is another chance for fans of something more unusual: join the walk along the outer ramp of the tower. This is an activity for a significant fee. And it is only suitable for brave and strong-willed people. If this is all about you, you can hover over the city. Don't worry about taking photos: videos and photos are included in the ticket price.
