Tianjin Haichang Polar Ocean World

The world-famous aquarium was opened in 2010. During the first year of its existence, its fame went far beyond the borders of the country. Along with such popular inhabitants of aquariums as huge killer whales, friendly common bottlenose dolphins, hulking walruses, and sea lions you can also see the most dangerous polar predators – giant polar bears, Arctic wolves, and fluffy snow foxes. Visitors especially like the aquariums with different types of the most amazing creatures on earth – penguins, and birds that can not fly but perfectly swim to the sound of applause.

In addition to many small aquariums in the form of columns with fantastic lighting which makes their inhabitants look even more unearthly, there are also large aquariums with sharks and rays. They attract a huge number of enthusiastic spectators. Another favorite attraction of the public is turtles, which are clumsy on land but incredibly graceful in the water.

Youngest visitors will definitely enjoy various shows with dolphins and seals in the outdoor pool, as well as a fabulous performance of real whales like porpoises and snow-white belugas.
