Pudong is a relatively young, but the most famous area of Shanghai which excites the imagination of tourists from all over the world. It is the tallest building in all of Asia and the second tallest in the world after the Burj Khalifa in the UAE. The Shanghai Tower is a multiple record holder in various categories.

Two other famous skyscrapers stand opposite the Shanghai Tower. One of them is the Jin Mao Tower which is also called «Golden Prosperity». It is one of the twenty tallest buildings in the world and one of the most popular business centers in Shanghai. The second famous skyscraper is the Shanghai World Financial Center which received the funny nickname «Opener» because of its unusual shape.
