Imagine that you arrive at the hotel or go up to your office in the tall Batumi Tower, and then a golden cabin with happy people sweeps past the window.
Such a miracle really exists in the center of Batumi. This Georgian city has long been known as the capital of unusual, original, sometimes very strange buildings and sculptures. They impress and attract the attention of tourists from all over the world. So is the «Batumi Tower» skyscraper, with a Ferris Wheel right in the building.
From afar, it looks like a clock. And the hands move, but too fast and all at once. Then you try to see what time it is, and everything becomes clear. David Gogichaishvili, a young Georgian architect, made his wildest fantasy come true in 2012.
The golden Ferris Wheel is located on the 27th floor of a 36-story skyscraper that was supposed to house the Black Sea Technological University, but this scientific center never opened. Now there is a five-star hotel. The building of the Batumi Tower itself is very unusual: the location of the windows is similar to the «Tetris» game, and above the Ferris Wheel, you can find a golden horn.
This Ferris Wheel is located in a small recess and consists of eight translucent cabins. Each of them can accommodate forty people. So you can enjoy the stunning views of Wonderland Park and Rustaveli Avenue in a big company. For this, you need to get to the 27th floor.
Many people believe that this is a pointless idea because there are also floors above and even an observation deck. But the Ferris Wheel has an advantage – originality. You can look at the city from the observation deck everywhere, but you can spin in the golden Wheel at an altitude of 200 meters and admire the view of Batumi only here.
If you want to make your vacation in Batumi unforgettable, go to the Ferris Wheel and get amazing, fiery, beautiful memories.
