After a whole day dedicated to the Panchavsky waterfall, we still had a desire to continue communication with the element of water. Its energy relaxes, pacifies, and helps to distract from everyday life. However, water can also be terrifying. If someone has ever been in a flood, they will never forget it. The water roars, buzzes, rushes forward, sweeping away everything in its path. The Czechs probably did not like it, so in 1910, they started the construction of a dam on the Elbe River to protect against these floods. After 4 years, a 1000 meter long reservoir was built. In 1916, the danger of snow melting became minimal. Today the beautiful dam works during the snow melting period and pleases the eyes of tourists the rest of the time.
My travel companions were not sure if they would be able to overcome the route with a little child, but they should not have worried. The excursion is only 2000 meters long, the road goes through the forest, with a wonderful landscape. It is only 250-300 meters to the bus stop, where it is possible to go back if the little ones get tired. But we are not cutting any corners. We went down the rope descent at speed. Whistling in my ears, the thought “How did I get it?”, the planet approaching at the speed of light (why didn’t I close my eyes?) And, yes, I did it, safe and sound! But after the descent, we were kindly informed that now we can climb to a 35-meter height right along the wall, of course, with insurance and with the help of an instructor. I realized the inevitability of this "entertainment", put up with it, and made it! Everything is absolutely safe and not so difficult. We returned back in good mood despite the fatigue. We made plans for the rest of the days, deep down in our hearts realizing that we had already done everything during our trip and deserved some rest.
