Every modern tourist is used to wandering the city streets, exploring architectural monuments, and visiting museums. And only sophisticated travelers take tuxedos and floor-length evening dresses with them to distant countries. It is always pleasant to listen to opera in the theater. And it is a special pleasure to listen to it in another country, especially if this country is the fabulous Kingdom of Denmark, and the theater is the Copenhagen Opera House.

The National Opera House of the Danish capital is one of the most expensive theaters in the world. The construction of the unique building cost the state $500 million. Even if you are not a big fan of opera, you should definitely visit the famous theater. Besides, it is located in the heart of Copenhagen, surrounded by major tourist attractions such as the Royal Palace of Amalienborg and the Marble Frederik's Church.

The fourteen floors of the theater, five of which are underground, include two modern stages and a giant foyer with an area of 7 thousand square meters. The large auditorium seats 1,703 people, and the orchestra pit accommodates more than 100 musicians. It is divided into a parterre and three spacious balconies with really royal boxes. The second auditorium seats only 180 spectators, as it is designed for more "intimate" and modern performances. In addition to the auditoriums, the theater has more than 1,000 utility rooms: costume rooms, dressing rooms, scene docks. It is not surprising that the total area of the opera house is almost 41 thousand square meters.

Enjoy the singing of opera divas surrounded by royal interiors of marble and gold leaf. Spend a short intermission with a cup of coffee in the foyer or with a glass of champagne under the majestic crystal chandeliers in a magnificent restaurant. Learn the art of living like a king, which is mastered by the residents of Denmark. And immerse yourself in the luxurious atmosphere for at least one evening, for a few hours.
