Krasnodar Park, funded by businessman Sergey Galitsky, was opened in 2017. It is often called Galitsky Park and one of the best parks in Europe. Designed by a German architectural company, it combines the innovations of European garden design.
The park is divided into zones: an amphitheater, an observation deck, a special playground for children, many walking and picnic areas. The park itself is located near the stadium, which is considered one of the most beautiful structures in Russia. Besides, the park is home to more than 2,500 trees, including both the common species in Russia (poplars, oaks, and maples) and the rare species for this climate (plum trees, thujas, tulip trees, and bonsai).
The hallmark of the park is the amphitheater that can simultaneously accommodate about 200 people. It is equipped with a powerful stereo system and a large screen. It gathers citizens and tourists for important city events together: for example, to watch football and cheer for their favorite team.
Besides, the park has an observation deck with a resting place at the very top. It offers a beautiful view of the park and the suburbs and is a great place to take beautiful photos.
The zones of Krasnodar Park are designed for people of all generations. For children, there is a playground with swings, rope ladders, slides, labyrinths, and new sound amusement. For teenagers, there is a skatepark, where they can perform tricks or just roller-skate, ride a bike or skateboard. There is also a place for lovers of quiet rest in the park. It is an artificial pond surrounded by trees, in the shade of which everyone can take a break from the heat. Besides, the park houses a cafe serving European cuisine and chef's specialties, as well as a burger bar. All dishes are prepared in an open kitchen using only quality local food.
