A small, one-story trailer with a door and several windows is located on a small promontory near the harbor. You can understand that this is a cafe only by the flag with a painted woman in ancient clothes and a small sign. Another clue is the smell of coffee and fresh pastries.

There is an amazing view of the ocean from this place: cold mountains, incredibly blue water, and those little dots – yachts. A place of amazing peace and tranquility!

It is believed that food during hikes is always tastier. Whether it is an unspoken rule or just the skill of the chefs, the cuisine at Café Thorhildur in Narsaq is absolutely delicious. Pies are the main dishes there. And they look so beautiful that you do not want to break this idyll to cut a piece.

There are pies, various cakes of all tastes and sizes, pizzas, and the simplest and most favorite hiking food - sausage sandwiches. There is also delicious ice cream.

Here's the plan: when you smell tempting food, come to the cafe. Walk around this tiny building for thirty minutes. Look at sculptures made of stone and animal bones, various souvenirs, paintings. Go to the counter and order a full plate of local goodies, coffee, and ice cream for dessert. Sit close to the window or outside...and enjoy the magnificent nature and delicious food!
