It's cool when the same attraction can be viewed from the water, from the air, and the ground. Impressions from three dimensions at once! This is the Sumidero Canyon in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez in Mexico.

This is an unforgettable sight! A real miracle of nature that makes you admire the strength, power, and originality of mother nature! And the jungle, and the rocks, and the emerald river – everything is beautiful! Even emerging crocodiles seems quite harmless against the background of such beauty.

The canyon is already old. It is 35 million years old, but it behaves like a child. The river murmurs and refreshing bright green thickets grow around it.

The Sumidero Canyon was formed as a result of a crease in the earth's crust. It turned into one of the most beautiful canyons in the world. And do not think that the Grijalva River and the beautiful views opening from it are all that can surprise you there. A huge national park is located on the rocks on both sides of the gorge. If you've always wanted to see an iguana, pelican, or giant black vulture – come there! Just don't go too far without a guide. The park is really wild. No one specifically feeds animals. So the jaguar there is not angry, but just hungry. And logs basking in the sun from the slightest rustle turn into huge toothy mouths.

It is quite possible to celebrate the New Year there. Put a white beard and hat on the instructor and drive up to the Christmas Tree waterfall. Streams of water pierced the karst rocks so that it turned out to be real spruce with wide suede legs. On the tips of the twigs, there are countless drops of water like Christmas decorations.

There is also a religious attraction - the chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe. You have to work hard to worship a saint. The chapel, built in honor of the founders of the park, is located in a small cave on a steep rock a few meters from the ground.
